I love everything about wedding and wanna be a wedding planner. The wedding things inspire me to craft Handmade jewelry so you can see all my products are so bridal feeling BUT perfect for everyone.. hahah ^-^

My favorite sources for Wedding Information are Brides.com and MarthastewartWeddings.com, I love these two websites because they are the same as you seen in their magazines and you can see the previous issues too..

This time I am inspired by MarthastewartWeddings, they always have the perfect palettes for wedding. I choose this Palette: Orange, Pink, Yellow because when people talk about wedding palette, they always think about White and Pink or Pink and Gold or White and Gold... I think they are a lot of colors that will make your weddings more unique and personal...

Orange, Pink and Yellow are colorful palette. You can make your weddings atmosphere colorful and fun.. Anyway, don't think this palette can't make you a elegant wedding cause they can...

Belows are all ideas from MarthastewartWeddings.

After that I search in Etsy for all wedding items that have the same color theme. And the results are as you know that Etsy is the biggest great resource.. great artists.. and great products with reasonable prices..

Yesterday, I gave you the idea to save a budget with Vintage Wedding Dress. But if you don't like something old or you can't find the dress you want from vintage.. You still can use Etsy as your resource.. You can tailor-made your wedding gown there too. And is it saving your money? The answer is Yes!

The prices in Etsy are varied from $250 to over thousand.. you can choose the price range that match your budget. One important thing that I want to warn you is that.. DO NOT jump to the beautiful dress with very very cheap! Check the feedback or talk to the seller first coz you don't want to waste the time and money on something that turned out not what you want and you don't have time to find a new one. But if you want to take the risk coz that price is so attractive.. please make the purchase in advance with the time gap that if something happens you can solve it.

So now you get the idea.. I show you my favorites!! :D

If you're a vintage lover or you don't mind to wear the vintage wedding dress in your big day, it's a huge way to save your budget. Like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City for the Dior Vintage (her first picked wedding dress before the Vivienne Westwood jumped to her), you still can be the most beautiful woman in your wedding day.. :D (I don't think the groom will find someone to replace you if you wear a vintage.) And it's something old, isn't it?

I bumped to so many beautiful vintage wedding dresses in Etsy since I've known Etsy. The difficult thing to find the vintage dress is the size.. If it's not your size, sometimes it's difficult to fix it if it's smaller than your size.. yes.. you get the idea.. if it's bigger than your size you can give it to the tailor to make it your size..

Busy for several months

I haven't blog anything in here for exact 2 months now.. so sorry about it since I promised that I will blog everyday when I changed the URL to this wedding guide blog.

Learn to clean and care for your diamond

Shield your ring - Remove it during extended periods of housework or yardwork, and keep it away from cleaners containing chlorine bleach, which can discolor the mounting. Store the ring on its own, in a fabric-lined case or bag.
Visit a jeweler - Once or twice a year, have a professional jeweler clean the ring and make sure the diamond is properly secured.
Keep it sparkling - At least once a month, bathe your engagement ring in warm water with mild household soap or a liquid cleanser specially made for diamonds.

Be a Savvy Shopper

Ask potential jewelers - If the store's rings come with a certificate from a gem lab, such as the Gemological Institute of America. This vertifies the diamond's characteristics, including the grade and quality of the stone.
When you're interested in diamond - Ask about its "spread". Determined by many factors, including depth, angles and thickness of the stone, the spread is how big the diamond appears. Keep in mind that a one-carat stone should spread 6.5 millimeters wide, and a two-carat diamond should spread 8.2 millimeters.

Once you've purchased the ring - Have an expert appraise its value. This is necessary for insurance purposes.
Avoid conflict diamonds - which are mined from a war-torn region and sold on the black market. The best way to make sure you're not buying one is to ask your jeweler whether his wholesalers support the Kimberley Process, which imposes requirements to ensure gems are ethically mined.

Choose a high-fashion wedding ring that can shine on its own.

Jewelry Guide: Diamond Anatomy

Last time I showed you the shapes of diamond and the 4 Cs.. (Read the previous details - Here!!). This time I will show you the Anatomy of a Diamond.

(1) GIRDLE - The edge formed where the top portion of the stone meets the bottom. It's usually where the prongs of the setting grasp the diamond.
(2) CROWN - The top part of the stone, above the girdle.
(3) TABLE - The flat surface, or face, of the stone.
(4) CULET - The point at the bottom of the stone. The larger the culet, the more visible it is from the top (and the less valuable the stone).
(5) PAVILION - The bottom part of the stone, beneath the girdle.

Diamond Definitions

Brilliance - The amount of dazzling white light reflected from the gem.
Dispersion - The rainbow of colors seen by the eye.
Luster - The amount and quality of light reflected from the diamond's surfaces.
Scintillation - The sparkle when the wearer moves the diamond (a combination of the above three terms).

It's great to have the wedding guides from wedding magazines and weblogs.. but sometimes there still has some problems that the brides and grooms need for help.. I will try my best to collect the interesting questions in Q&A column in different magazines and books in my blog.. You can just type your questions in the search on the right side..

Q: In order to plan our wedding day the way we want it, my fiancé and I have decided to pay for the wedding ourselves. We know our parents are expecting to have control over the plans - they're already talking about what they want - so how do we break the news to them that it's going to be our way?

A: Many parents simply aren't aware that it's become a big trend - and growing closer to the norm - for brides and grooms to plan and pay for their own weddings. So their long-held expectations of the wedding they'll give you, which they may have thought about on the day you were born, could be deeply entrenched. If they're talking about it now, in the way you described, they're probably going to be pretty stunned that they don't get to have their dream their way. Your fears could start to spin out imaginary scenes of how they'll react and how angry they'll be, but you never know how it will go until you're in the moment. What helps is your great diplomacy in how you tell them. Parents do want to be addressed with respect and gratitude, so it would be best to make sure your speech is filled with positives.

Here's your script:

YOU: "Mom, Dad, we can't thank you enough for the engagement present, and it was so exciting to celebrate with you and the family. It was a great way to start this exciting time."

MOM AND DAD: "Anything for you, sweetheart."

YOU: "We've started thinking about our plan for the wedding, and we've decided that we'd like to pay for the entire thing ourselves."

MOM AND DAD: "What?"

YOU: "It's something we really feel strongly about, and we've been saving for a while so that we can have the thrill of knowing that we planned our wedding on our own."

MOM AND DAD: "Oh, so you don't want our help?" (Arms crossed over chests, eyebrows raised.)

YOU: "It's absolutely not that all. We're looking forward to working with you on things like finding a ballroom, and Mom I'd love for you to come dress shopping with me. And if there's anything else you'd like to join in on, that would be terrific!"
